UCLA’s Transformative Coaching and Leadership degree program using Athlete Mental Health Book

The Transformative Coaching and Leadership degree program at UCLA is using the Athlete Mental Health Playbook in the mental health course, which is taught by the phenomenal Dr. Julia Pelikhova.

Students, who are current and former athletes, go through each chapter as a group as well as complete both journal and worksheet exercises from the book. (I’m told the students really enjoy the worksheet on self-talk.) At the end of the course, each student must present one of the 10 Super Powered Mindset Shifts by sharing how they will implement it in their life.
