 College athletes are carrying more than practice, games, and school.

They are managing pressure from coaches, family, teammates, social media, NIL opportunities, comparison, injuries, playing time, travel schedules, classwork, and the constant expectation to perform.

Misty Buck is an author, podcast host, speaker, and mental performance coach. She is known for her work as a mindset coach helping athletes and high-achievers transform their inner game. Inspired by her journey with mental health struggles, Misty’s goal is to teach others how to achieve and maintain mental peace. Her notable works include her books Athlete Mental Health Playbook, Athlete Branding Blueprint, and Mindset Champion: Winning The Inner Game For Student Athletes.

She’s regularly invited to speak to groups of student-athletes and leaders, including serving as the mental health keynote speaker for FHSAA’s student leadership seminar since 2024, presenting a workshop for UCLA’s Transformative Coaching and Leadership master’s program, and conducting several workshops for the University of Miami (leadership classes and teams).
